Upgrade virtual server

You can upgrade (change properties) of your virtual server at any time. Process is automated but some upgrade options may result in delays.

There are no upgrade fees, but server price will change according to new specifications.
The billing cycle will reset after each upgrade and the unused amount from the previous invoice will be deducted from the new invoice.

To proceed with the upgrade go to the server properties page in our control panel and click the "Upgrade" link.

When proceeding with the upgrade please note that:

  • In most cases the server will be rebooted.
  • The system hard drive cannot be shrinked without the Operating System (OS) reinstall and data loss.
  • If the hard drive is expanded it will not be immediately visible to the OS. You'll need to use OS Storage Manager to extend it. You may also need to reboot the server before changes are visible.
