Access virtual server remotely
Please note that only one Administrator/Root user is created during server setup and our system only aware of the initial (default) password of this user.
Once you change the password, we have no way to access the server and/or recover the initial password. We recommend you create another administrative user on the server.

You can manage your Virtual server either with built in management software or with Hypervisor. Depending on that, you need to use different properties for Server name/Username/Password.

Windows servers

Please use Remote Desktop to manage any version of Windows server.

On your local computer start the Remote Desktop application (search your windows computer for “Remote desktop” keywords if you don’t know where it is)

Login to our control panel and navigate to Managed products -> Virtual servers -> [Virtual server name]

For “Computer“ field in the Remote desktop please use first IP in the “IP addresses of Virtual server” from server’s properties page in our control panel.
For the “Username” and “Password” in Remote desktop please use “OS User ID” and “Initial OS password” from server’s properties page.

Linux/Unix servers

Please use SSH to manage any version of Linux/Unix server.

Login to our control panel and navigate to Managed products -> Virtual servers -> [Virtual server name]

For Server name in SSH client use first IP in the “IP addresses of Virtual server” property from server’s properties page in our control panel.
For the “Username” and “Password” use “OS User ID” and “Initial OS password” from server’s properties page.

All servers

Independently on what Operating system is installed or in what state the VPS is it can be managed with ESXi vSphere Client.
